Climate Change Solutions for the Private Sector


Bending the Curve: Climate Change Solutions for the Private Sector is a program offered by the University of California, San Diego, through a partnership between the Scripps Institution for Oceanography and the Rady School of Management. It is  is a short-format online learning program designed for private sector C-suite executives and senior leaders. Courses address climate change science and climate change mitigation practices that are relevant for key sectors driving the economy. Climate Change Solutions for the Investment and Financial Sector (Core Course)

This fully online course consists of two video lectures by noted scholars from the University of California and New York University and is designed for finance and investment C-suite executives and senior leaders. It provides an overview of climate change science, with a particular focus on the roles that human behavior and the greenhouse effect play in global warming. It also discusses the risks that companies and investors face due to climate change as well as the opportunities emerging for the private sector to drive mitigation and adaptation strategies.
